NAEYC and Fred Rogers Center joint position statement: Technology and Interactive Media as Tools in Early Childhood Programs Serving Children from Birth through Age 8

The National Association for the Education of Young Children has a Technology & Young Children Interest forum.They support a website, listserv, Diigo group and wiki sandbox, which includes an iPad Idea Space page and links to items tagged iPad in their Diigo group . Everyone is welcome to review and join in.

Technology in Early Childhood Center- at Erikson Institute "empowers early childhood educators to thoughtfully and appropriately use technology in the classroom and other early childhood settings."

From the post Achieving e-quality " the American Center for Children and Media has been collaborating on a project launched by the Fred Rogers Center for Early Learning and Children's Media at Saint Vincent College. The goal is to develop a framework for defining and describing quality in (especially digital) media, meant for children aged 0-8".
